Assisting individuals, couples, and families create meaningful, lasting change

Working Together Toward Meaningful Change

People come to therapy for many different reasons. Some are coping with anxiety or grief. Others are trying to strengthen relationships, work through trauma, or simply understand why life feels harder than it used to. Whatever brings you here, therapy begins with listening.

My role isn't to tell you who you should become. It's to better understand where you are today, what you hope will be different, and to help you move toward the life you want to live—one step at a time. Together, we'll take time to understand what has brought you here, identify what you hope will be different, and work toward goals that help create a life with greater meaning, connection, and purpose.

There isn't one path that works for everyone. That's why each person's therapy is shaped around their unique experiences, strengths, and hopes for the future.

Individual Therapy

Many people begin therapy because they know something isn't working the way they would like it to. They may feel anxious more often than they used to. They may find themselves discouraged, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply wondering why life feels more difficult than it once did.

Individual therapy offers an opportunity to slow down and explore those experiences together. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we'll spend time understanding what may be contributing to them and what changes might help move you toward the life you want to live.

As we identify your goals, each session builds upon the last, creating practical ways to continue the work between appointments, where meaningful growth often takes place.

Trauma and Grief Counseling

There are moments in life that can change everything.

The loss of someone we love, a traumatic experience, unexpected change, or circumstances beyond our control can leave us feeling uncertain about how to move forward.

Healing doesn't happen by pretending those experiences never occurred. It begins by creating a safe place to understand them, process them, and gradually discover how they fit into the larger story of your life.

Whether you're grieving a recent loss or working through experiences that continue to affect your daily life, therapy offers space for healing without judgment and at a pace that feels right for you.

Couples and Family Therapy

Relationships shape significant portions of our lives.

Whether you're working through conflict, communication challenges, changing family dynamics, or simply hoping to understand one another more clearly, therapy provides an opportunity to slow down the conversation and begin listening in new ways.

I enjoy working with couples and families because each person brings a different perspective. As we begin to understand those perspectives together, it often becomes easier to find common ground, strengthen relationships, and move toward healthier patterns of communication.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Much of my work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBR) because our thoughts influence how we experience the world.

Throughout our lives, we develop ways of thinking that become so familiar we often don't notice them. Those patterns shape our emotions, our decisions, and the way we relate to ourselves and others.

Together, we'll take time to notice those patterns—not to criticize them, but to understand them. As we become more aware of the thoughts that no longer serve us, we can begin developing healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.

My goal isn't simply to help you think differently. It's to help you experience your life differently.

EMDR Therapy

Sometimes experiences become stored in ways that continue to affect us long after the event itself has passed.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based approach that helps the brain process difficult memories in a way that can reduce their emotional impact. While EMDR is widely known for treating trauma, it can also be helpful for anxiety, depression, and other concerns that may be connected to past experiences.

I often integrate EMDR with traditional talk therapy. Together, these approaches allow us to explore difficult experiences while also developing practical tools that support everyday life.

In-Person and Virtual Therapy

I provide therapy for adolescents, adults, couples, and families through both in-person and virtual appointments.

My office serves individuals throughout Buda, Kyle, San Marcos, South Austin, and surrounding communities. Virtual sessions are also available for clients across Texas, making therapy more accessible when life becomes busy or distance makes travel difficult.
